The 2021 "Yangzhou International Horticultural Expo - The First Canal Cities Model United Nations Conference" (CCMUN) is co-organized by the "Window of Philadelphia", a non-profit platform, and DENO International Education Consultant at the invitation of the Expo Organizing Committee. This conference is hosted by the Working Committee of the Partnership for the UN (SDG Action 35553), guided by the World Historic and Cultural Canal Cities Cooperation Organization (WCCO), and fully supported by the People's Government of Yizheng, the host city of the International Horticultural Exhibition.
On July 21, 2022, the second Canal Cities Model United Nations Conference "Build a Better Future @ Asian Games" was jointly opened in well-known canal cities Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province.The 2022 conference continues the strong lineup of the first conference: nearly 600 faculty and delegates from 20 cities and 82 schools across the country participated in the conference. And guided by 32 Secretariat members and members of the Presiding Team, the Secretariat consists of United Nations staff, international organization officials, or experienced individuals deeply involved in organizing Model United Nations projects.
In July 2023, the third Canal City Model United Nations Conference opened with the theme "Sailing Dreams, Connecting the Future" in Yangzhou, and with the theme "Meet in the Wuxi, Build the Future" in Wuxi."This conference is specially supported by the Consulate General of China in New York and the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu People's Government. It is guided by the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and the World Historic and Cultural Canal Cities Cooperation Organization (WCCO), with joint support from the governments and education bureaus of Wuxi and Yangzhou. The conference is hosted by the Working Committee of the Partnership for the UN (SDG Action 43481), and organized by the Window of Philadelphia and Deno International Education. The two venues together attracted nearly 800 teachers and students from around the world.
The three conferences were successfully held and received wide acclaim from society. CCTV, Zhejiang TV, Yiwu TV, Yangzhou News, and other media outlets provided television news coverage. Dozens of domestic authoritative media outlets such as People's Daily Online, Xinhuanet, China News Service, Yangzi Evening Post, Yangzhou Daily, China Internet Information Center, and Xinhua Online reported on the event simultaneously.
Now recruiting the Presiding Team members for the two conferences of the 4th Canal City Model United Nations Conference in 2024.

Global primary and secondary school students
Expected Conference Size:
300 participants per conference, with each committee consisting of 20-60 members
Work Benefits:
The organizing committee provides transportation subsidies and accommodation arrangements.
The organizing committee prepares work certificates or internship certificates as needed.
Requirements for Presiding Team:
Undergraduate or above
Must have experience as a chair in at least one previous MUN conference
Members of well-known university MUN societies are preferred
Preference given to conference designers
