Introduction

The Canal Cities Model United Nations (CCMUN) recruits primary and secondary students globally, with registration and selection organized by school units. At the conference, each delegate represents a different country across various committees to simulate UN sessions. Participants successfully completing all tasks receive a certificate issued by the UN SDG Quality Education Executive Committee. The conference presents awards including Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and Best Delegation, determined by a judging committee of the Secretariat and experts. Schools winning "Outstanding Delegation" may be designated as a Practice Base by the UN SDG Quality Education Executive Committee. The event invites current UN officials and diplomats for guidance, with full coverage by CCTV News and local media. The Organizing Committee includes active staff from international organizations and the UN. Focusing on common UN agenda items, the conference cultivates critical thinking through debate, strengthens problem-solving skills amidst conflict, broadens international perspectives, and enhances global competitiveness.
