Introduction

After the first Canal Cities Model United Nations Conference was held successfully on the platform of the 2021 Yangzhou International Horticultural Exposition, it has received strong support from many canal cities in China. In order to introduce international platforms for the students continuously, and improve their overall development, The CCMUN committee established the MUN clubs for schools and communities.

    UN Sustainable Quality Education Center

    The United Nations Sustainable Quality Education Zhejiang Center/Jiangsu Center is qualified and approved the Working Committee of the partnership for UN Sustainable Development Goals Action 35553, and uses different forms to assist schools in the sustainable development of quality education.

    Canal Cities Model United Nations Committee

    The Organizing Committee of the Canal Cities Model United Nations is composed of a number of commissioners who have served or are currently working in the United Nations, a number of diplomats who have been or are currently working in the diplomatic field, and an academic team of experts. The guidance team provides members of the CCMUN community with different perspectives and international exchange platforms, and the academic team provides professional academic training and guidance for members.

    United Nations Institute for Sustainability Management (UNISM) is an innovative management application institute with the main purpose of promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is the global executive organization of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) Global Sustainable Development Goals Collaborative Project (SDG Action 35553). It is a professional management and guidance institution for services, technological innovation, and collaborative development. It aims to provide responsible management and education to help all sectors of society acquire cross-cutting knowledge and skills of sustainable development, thereby promoting the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

    The Working Committee of the partnership for UN Sustainable Development Goals Action 35553 (SDG Action 35553) is approved by the United Nations Secretariat, managed by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and published on the official website of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It is responsible for promoting the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It aims to strengthen and enhance knowledge sharing, professional exchanges and project collaboration among network members, enhance people's awareness and understanding of the SDGs through different channels, increase knowledge and skills, and promote the formation of common social emotions and values. As the directing organization of the Canal Cities Model United Nations, official certificates will be issued to selected participants.

    World Historic and Cultural Canal Cities Cooperation Organization

    The World Historic and Cultural Canal Cities Cooperation Organization is a non-profit international organization voluntarily formed by canal cities and related economic and cultural institutions around the world. With the canal as a link, it promotes economic and cultural exchanges between canal cities, shares development experience, promotes mutually beneficial cooperation, and promotes the canal. Cities grow and prosper together. It is committed to jointly discussing the protection and utilization of canal heritage, finding a way for canal culture to promote urban development, and committed to promoting friendship, cooperation and common progress among canal cities in the world.

Responsibilities and Functions of the Canal City Model Feder

Committee Secretariat

The annual Canal Cities Model United Nations Conference will be held for club members of all schools, giving all students a platform to compete on the same stage; the conference will have domestic conferences or foreign conferences according to the global situation.

Regularly invites renowned teachers, diplomatic experts, and United Nations staff to give online and in-person workshops, seminars and courses for members of the club

Regional Branch

Co-organizes the annual CCMUN selection camp or preparatory camp for club members in the region, provides students in all regions with centralized training for improvement, and selects qualified student representatives for the conference. Regularly organizes members of inter-school clubs to participate in discussions of current international affairs, simulated consultations, debates, etc. Regularly edits the activities of each school into news articles and submit them to the News Group of the CCMUN Secretariat


School Clubs

Organizes monthly regular activities - according to the activity plan given by the secretariat and according to the specific situation of each school, the presidents of the student clubs will issue an activity plan at the beginning of the year, including the activity theme, content, and invited guests or teachers

Honors and awards for delegates or above

All delegates who have participated in CCMUN have the opportunity to receive the scholarship program for studying abroad provided by St. Mark's Middle School, with a maximum scholarship of 700,000 RMB.

All delegates who have participated in the activities of CCMUN will have the opportunity to apply for international exchange programs to obtain tuition-free study abroad opportunities and valuable learning experiences

All delegates have the opportunity to apply for the MUN conferencs of top-tire American universities and experience international communication with foreign students, and have the opportunity to receive recommendation letters from professors at these schools
