In March, the 2026 Global Citizens Model United Nations Conference study tour, organized by Denuo International Education Group, came to a successful conclusion. It was not only a study tour but also a precious gift for outstanding students.

The tour selected a special group of participants – all winners of the "Best Delegate" award at previous Canal Cities Model United Nations conferences (CCMUN). Denuo International Education provided scholarships for these outstanding young people, supporting them from China’s MUN stage to the UN Headquarters in New York, where they competed among the world’s top student debaters.

The Global Citizens Model United Nations Conference (GCMUN) is one of the most authoritative and academically prestigious MUN events for young people worldwide. Organized by United Europe of NGOs (UNE), which holds UN consultative status, the conference is authorized to hold part of its sessions at the UN Headquarters in New York. Renowned for its strict UN rules of procedure, high-level background and rigorous delegate selection, it attracts top students from around the globe. Focused on cutting-edge international diplomatic topics, it serves as a high-end academic platform for cultivating future youth leaders and enhancing their understanding of global affairs and multilateral negotiation skills. Each year, CCMUN sends its best delegates to represent Chinese youth and speak for the world on the UN stage.

This year, former CCMUN delegates, bearing the honor of "Best Delegate", stepped into the Golden Hall at the UN Headquarters to debate, consult and negotiate on pressing global issues. In this historic building symbolizing peace and development, they were not mere visitors but real participants. They experienced authentic diplomatic dynamics, sharpened critical thinking through intellectual exchanges, and grasped the essence of multilateral diplomacy by seeking common ground while reserving differences.

Zhao Shuqi from Nanchang Tianxing Century School stood out in the fierce international competition and won the highly competitive Honorable Mention Award. This honor is not only a personal achievement but also strong proof of Chinese teenagers’ critical thinking and global vision on international issues, as well as recognition of the professionalism and academic excellence of CCMUN delegates.
